About me.
Katja van den Eijnden is an artist creating interactive installations at the intersection of space, sustainability and participation. Working with waste materials, she builds immersive worlds that invite people to slow down, explore and marvel. Encouraging awareness and collective engagement.
Projects in public space, solo exhibitions and presentations at Dutch Design Week mark key moments in her artistic practice. By transforming discarded materials into participatory installations, she creates spaces where visitors become contributors to shared experiences.
She also shares her knowledge through workshops and education. She has worked at the Weaving Museum Geldrop for over ten years, connecting traditional textile techniques with contemporary making. As a community artist with the Art & Technology Foundation, she develops projects that bring together art, craft and local communities, reflecting her belief that creativity can inspire social and environmental change.
